For Barrett's ancestors, life was unpleasant, but they learn to adapt, until many of their family members are sold in the 1850s.
The author, founder of Kingdom Publishings, is also the author and publisher of a four set volume based on the genealogies of families from Greene County, Alabama and the president of Greene and Pickens Black Families Association.
