The Men's Health Project is partnering with community members and organizations to present a health fair for African American males of all ages in an effort to raise awareness of health disparities and inequities.
Saturday March 27, 11 a.m.– 3 p.m. Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 8501 N. Chautauqua Blvd.
The fair will include:
Original spoken word presentations by DluxTheLight and Madjestiq; healthy food samples; blood pressure screening and cholesterol/diabetes screening; therapeutic massage; recruiters from local health training institutions; community discussions on cancer, mental health, addictions, and diabetes/heart disease; booths with health information and community resources.
The event is free to the public. Men, women, and youth are encouraged to attend.
