Nana Kwaku Mensah was a Founding Father and pioneer of the Ghanaian community. He was pivotal in the formation of Ghana Association of Oregon. He was a leader, historian, counselor, and friend to many. He had a very unifying spirit and warm demeanor. We are truly honored to have had his wisdom and knowledge shared with us throughout the years.

Mr. Mensah is survived by three children: Lisa, Sarah, and David Mensah and three grandchildren.

The funeral for Mr. Kwaku Mensah will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 2:00PM at The Old Church located at 1422 SW 11th Ave, Portland, Ore.

Please wear traditional Ghanaian funeral colors (black, red and white) to honor Mr. Mensah's legacy.
