The Oregon League of Minority Voters is holding a luncheon on Oct. 14 in Eugene to kick off their campaign to create Civil Rights Day in Oregon.
The event is free and will feature a candidate forum and speeches from civil rights leaders. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University of Oregon campus. Only 200 tickets will be available and are available on a first come, first served basis. Make your registration RSVP info@oregonlmv.org.  The event is sponsored by the University of Oregon and KGW.
