Providence Center on Aging offers "The Secrets of Living to be 100," a four-part course on living longer, healthier lives. The course will be offered at the St. Vincent Medical Center and at Portland Medical Center.
At the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, the course will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursdays, July 13, 20, 27, and Aug. 3. Free parking and a free Providence shuttle service from the TriMet Sunset Transit Center are available.
The course also will be offered from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays, July 15, 22, 29 and Aug. 5, in Providence Portland Medical Center, 4805 N.E. Glisan St., Free on-site parking is available, as is free Providence shuttle service from the TriMet Hollywood Transit Center.

Cindy Klug, director of research and education at Providence Center on Aging, discusses what can be done to live longer and be healthier.
