Whether you are a skilled golfer or someone just curious about getting started for the first time, Leisure Hour Golf invites you to its multicultural golf mixer. Meet other people of color who know how to golf as well as local celebrity golfers, and Leisure Hour's president Keith Edwards. Members will be on hand to greet you and share information about the club. All this and door prizes too.
The "Let's Play Golf" Mixer – a 21 or older event -- will be held Tuesday April 13 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Curious Comedy Theater, 5225 NE Martin Luther King Blvd Portland , OR 97211. Email leisurehourgolfclub@gmail.com by April 6 to confirm.
Take a closer look at the game of golf, and our club, as a source of outdoor recreation, exercise, professional networking, and opportunity for friendly competition with club members who share a common interest.
Leisure Hour is a multicultural golf association set up in 1944 to offer people of color the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of golf. Leisure Hour's programs include: Saturday Play at Glendoveer Golf Course, Leisure Hour Junior Golf Program, Tournaments, Leisure Hour Women's Golf, Leisure Hour Newsletter and fun for all levels of golfers and non-golfing members.

The club is a member of Western States Golf Association which comprises 31 golf clubs in seven states.
