More than 60 employersrepresenting hundreds of employment opportunities will be featured at Portland Community College's Ninth Annual Cascade Job Fair.

The fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, in the Physical Education Building gym at the college's Cascade Campus, 705 N. Killingsworth St. The event is free and open to PCC students and graduates and the community.

The single largest employment event in the entire PCC district, the job fair attracted more than 2,100 job seekers last year.
Businesses are looking for full- and part-time workers and also are recruiting for summer jobs.

Participating employers include American Family Insurance, Ameriprise FinancialServicesInc., Beaverton School District, Bureau of Land Management, Comcast, FedEx Ground, Frito Lay Inc., HSBC-Financial Services, KGW, Kaiser Permanente, Landmark Ford Inc., Metropolitan Public Defender, Miller Paint Co., Morrison Child and Family Services, Mt. Hood Beverage, Oregon Department of Transportation, Oregon Health and Science University, Portland General Electric, Sysco Food Services of Portland Inc., The Sherwin-Williams Co., Transportation Security Administration, Tri-Met, UPS and Wells Fargo and others.

To prepare for the job fair, PCC is also offering resume reviews the week before the fair. The resume reviews will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 24 through 27 in the Interior Mall of the Cascade Campus's Student Center.
