"The Apprentice" finalist Marshawn Evans will be speaking on women's empowerment in Portland, on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the new Ambridge Conference Center at 1333 NE Martin Luther King Blvd.
The multi-faceted professional will talk about the power of expectation to surpass stereotypes and define your own success.
Evans is an attorney, author, speaker and media personality. She is the author of "Skirts in the Boardroom: A Woman's Survival Guide to Success in Business & Life."
She is also the founder of ME Unlimited, a corporate life-enrichment consulting firm focusing on peak performance, diversity, women's empowerment and leadership.
Her success in the classroom and the courtroom took her to the infamous "boardroom" as one of Donald Trump's handpicked cast members on NBC's hit show "The Apprentice."
A graduate of Georgetown University Law School, Evans practiced as a commercial litigator and employment lawyer with one of Atlanta's most prestigious law firms.
Recently named one of Atlanta's Power 30 Under 30, she has been featured by Glamour Magazine, Upscale, Monarch, Diversity Business Magazine, USA Today, The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, ABC, Fox News, MTV and NBC.
The program will start at 6:30 p.m. and is free to the first 200 people who RSVP; all others will be charged a $25 fee. This event is open to both men and women, and the dress code is business attire.
