Los Angeles businessman Kim L. Hunter, an alumnus of the University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business, has donated $25,000 to the university. Hunter is president and CEO of Lagrant Communications, an advertising, marketing and public relations firm that specializes in communications designed for the African American and Hispanic communities. The company's clients include Harley Davidson, Southern California Edison and the University of Southern California. The new scholarship will be distributed to a student from an underrepresented background pursuing a degree in marketing.
