Just under 15 percent of eligible voters in Multnomah County – or 78,686 people – cast ballots in this week’s special election. Portland voters were mostly tasked with electing new board members for Portland Public Schools, Portland Community College and the Multnomah County Educational Service District. Those results, and a breakdown of percentages and total votes cast, follow.

Portland Community College District, Director, Zone 2

  • Tiffani Penson – 88.6 percent (16,389 votes)
  • Leonard S. Kendall – 10.8 percent (1,999 votes)
  • Write-in - .86 percent

Portland School District Director Zone 1

  • Andrew Scott – 91.33 percent (53,915 votes)
  • Jeff Sosne – 7.81 percent (4,609 votes)
  • Write-in - .86 percent (508 votes)

Portland School District Director Zone 2

  • Michelle A. DePass – 66 percent (40,846 votes)
  • Shanice Clarke – 29 percent (18,235 votes)
  • Carlos Jermaine Richard – 3.6 percent (2,212 votes)
  • Write-in - .5 percent (313 votes)

Portland School District Director Zone 4

  • Amy Kohnstamm – 62.43 percent (38,411 votes)
  • Deb Mayer – 30.8 percent (18,950 votes)
  • Wes Soderback – 6 percent (3,720 votes)
  • Write-in - .72 percent

Portland School District Director Zone 7

  • Eilidh Lowery – 79 percent (47,649 votes)
  • Robert Schultz 20.31 percent (12,256)
  • Write-in - .7 percent (425 votes)

Multnomah Education Service District, Director, Position 5, Zone 1

  • Denyse Peterson – 98.03 percent (15,370 votes)
  • Write-in - 1.97 percent (309)

Multnomah Education Service District, Director, Position 6

  • Kristin Cornuelle - 83.82 percent (65,411 votes)
  • Shira Newman – 15.51 percent (12,103 votes)
  • Write-in - .67 percent (526 votes)

Multnomah Education Service District, Director, Position 7, Zone 3

  • Katrina Doughty – 91.78 percent (16,416 votes)
  • Derek Miazga – 6.83 percent (1,222)
  • Write-in – 1.39 percent (248 votes)
