Sivanderbil C.D. Willis was born on Nov. 13, 1945 in Belgonia, Miss., to Leatha Willis. He graduated from high school and went on to further his education, earning a bachelor's degree in culinary arts.


Mr. Willis was self-employed as ajourneyman painter. He met his wife Vernell ("CoCo"), and they married in 1992. He was a loving, devoted, supportive and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend.


Preceding him in death was his great-aunt and uncle, Albert and Major Edwards, who raised him, and Emmitt Daniels.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Vernell Willis; daughtersEvangelatha Willis-Taylor and Jolanda Clark; sons Crane Niblack, ClementhPorterand Demond Clark; sisters Erma Wilson, Prael Cotton, SusieJones,Virginia Henderson and Henrietta Travis; brothers Joshua and Kenneth Earl Daniels; 23 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and his friendandex-wife, Margaret Willis.
