A new art exhibition on its way to Portland will bring some of the most exciting work by artists of African ancestry in the Pacific Northwest. The show opens Feb. 11 in the Edith Green-Wendell Wyatt Federal Building at 1220 SW 3rd Ave Portland, OR.

Artists featured include:

Carletta Carrington Wilson, who creates gorgeous collages with a message.
Earnie Thomas, who brings an industrial and architectural point of view to his 2D and 3D paintings, as well as Al Doggett, and Ashby Reed, a creative director and graphic designer as well as a fine artist.

Produced by Onyx Fine Arts, the show will run from February 11 to April 3, 2016 and is open to the public during regular business hours. The art on view will cover a broad range of artistic styles from abstract to realism produced by accomplished and emerging artists.

Onyx Fine Arts is a non-profit organization based in Seattle, Washington, which aims to share and celebrate our commonalities and differences through visual art. The artwork exhibited by Onyx artists has received high acclaim by the public and patrons of the Visual Arts.

The public is invited to attend the opening reception February 11, 2016 from 4 – 5:30pm in the Edith Green-Wendell Wyatt federal building gallery located at 1220 SW 3rd Ave Portland, OR.
