MOVIE NIGHT. Come watch "Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory" at the transformed outdoor movie theater. Pioneer Courthouse Square. Begins at Dusk.


SCHOOL TIME. A back-to-school health fair with supply giveaways, etc. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Portland Community College-Cascade Campus, 705 N. Killingsworth St.

COMMUNITY DAY. Have food and fun with live music. 10 a.m. St. Johns All Nations Church, 9486 N. Buchanan St.


THE BITE. Come experience the many different types of food at the Bite of Oregon. 11 a.m. Waterfront Park. Parents, $7, Children under 12, free.


PROBLEM SOLVING. A class and support group to help parents and caregivers of children with behavioral problems. Learn reactive responses, and skill deficits. 6:30-8 p.m. Legacy Emanuel Children's Hospital, 2801 N. Gantenbein Ave. Call to register, 503-335-3500.


FOR THE CITY. Go downtown and enjoy local musical talent at the Noon Tunes Concert. Noon-1 p.m. Pioneer Courthouse Square, 715 SW Morrison St.


OPEN CONCERT. Bring your lunch, relax, and enjoy an hour of music by a local artist. Noon. The Old Church, 1422 S.W. 11th Ave.


SUMMER FESTIVAL. Hear a live swing jazz band in the park. 6 p.m. Washington Park Amphitheater, 4001 S.W. Canyon Rd.


EDUCATION FIRST. Participate in the Back to School Supplies Drive. Drop off supplies 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friends of the Children, 44 N.E. Morrison St.


BLOCK PARTY. The Oregon Bus Project hosts a door-to-door canvas and block party. Come for breakfast and training before going out to register voters and talk about the Healthy Kids Initiative. 10 a.m. Block party with music and games at 2 p.m. Uthank Park, 501 N. Failing St.


ARTS FESTIVAL. Enjoy the work of 70 artists, a jazz band, tree dancers and more at the 5th annual Arts Festival in the Forest. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Mary S. Young Park, 20100 Willamette Dr., West Linn.
