Free performances are planned on Aug. 26 by students attending classes offered by the Northwest Children's Theater and School.
The classes, taught by theater professionals, include hands-on "playlabs," where students experience all the elements of a play production culminating in a performance as well as theater skills classes, workshops and seminars. Classes are for ages 4 1/2 to 18 years old.
All performances will be held at Northwest Neighborhood Cultural Center, 1819 N.W. Everett St. in the auditorium or in a specified classroom. For more information, visit www.nwcts. org or call 503-222-2190.
The performances will be:
• Madeline Lost (ages 7 to 12): 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.;
• Cinderella (ages 11to 15): 12:30 p.m.;
• Flash to the Rescue (ages 11 to 16) 3:30 p.m.
• Midsummer Night's Dream (ages 13 to 18) 5 p.m.
