The Oregon League of Minority Voters is holding a luncheon on Oct. 14 in Eugene to kick off their campaign to create Civil Rights Day in Oregon.
The event is free and will feature a candidate forum and speeches from civil rights leaders. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University of Oregon campus.
