On March 14, Daniela Gray was named a Princess of this year's court. Daniela is a junior at Grant High School and expects to graduate next June. After graduation, Daniela will pursue a career as a nurse.

Daniela is eager for expansive learning experiences and the opportunity to represent her school and family on the Court. She says, “I'm interested in representing my school, experiencing Portland's history and the Portland Rose Festival traditions, meeting court members from other schools, gaining career knowledge, and overall participating in community activities. I also want to be a member of the 2024 Rose Festival Court because, in 1988, my mom ran for Rose Festival Princess at Grant High School".

Looking ahead to the Portland Rose Festival, Daniela shares her favorite events and childhood memories. “My favorite Rose Festival event is the junior parade.” Says Daniela. "I'll never forget the feeling of anticipation for the sight of the first marching band or a float around the corner. Colors, music and thrill filled my body.”
