This family friendly, free to the public, all-day multicultural event honors the people that make KBOO Community Radio happen. On Saturday, September 23, 12 p.m. until 10 p.m., to commemorate its 55th birthday, KBOO will transform a block near its studios into a festival area.

The event will be held at SE 8th Avenue between Ankeny and Ash. Activities will include music performances, station tours, food, beverages, vendors and fun.

From 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. KBOO will hold its Annual Meeting and elections for the Board of Directors. All are welcome to participate as KBOO discusses the accomplishments of 2023 and looks ahead to 2024.
