The Skanner is being honored with a lifetime achievement award from The Daily Journal of Commerce and its Building Diversity program. “The Skanner has played a pivotal role in many projects and initiatives, and has been a resource for contractors and public agencies to inform people of color about contracting opportunities,” according to the nomination.

The Building Diversity recognition and education program celebrates and examines diversity, equity and inclusion within the local building industry and environment.

The event will take place online on Wednesday, May 26 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend on this webpage.
