Sprinavasa Brown, co-founder of ELSO Inc., has a deep passion for social justice, racial equity in education, and solving complex problems facing communities of color.

Join the Portland Audubon Society for Nature Night to learn how Brown and her team are breaking down barriers and decolonizing science to make the outdoors and environmental education more inclusive. She’ll share her experience in creating space for youth of color in STEAM and the outdoors in a majority setting with limited influence of Whiteness; the dominant culture that influences societal norms.
