ATLANTIC OCEAN — The Navy Office of Community Outreach travels the globe to collect Sailors' stories and distribute them to their hometowns.

In the photo, Schmidt is reading a bible verse during a stations of the cross observance aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98).

Forrest Sherman is conducting operations in U.S. 6th Fleet to support maritime security operations in international waters alongside our allies and partners as a part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group.
