Fr. Don Siple, OSM, Rector of The Grotto, announced today that he will be suspending Mass until March 31, in response to recommendations regarding the spread of Covid-19.

The Grotto is committed to being a place of prayer for the community during this time, therefore access to our Upper Gardens will be free through March 31. All are welcome to visit the outdoor sanctuary.

The Grotto is a 62-acre Catholic shrine, built in 1924. Located at NE 85th and Sandy Blvd., visitors can enjoy beautiful gardens and forested trails, along with award-winning architecture and statues.

While admission to the Upper Gardens is waived through the end of the month, the lower level is free year-round. Pets, properly restrained, are welcome on the lower level.
