Hobbs Waters will be giving an artist talk at Portland Center Stage at The Armory

Hobbs Waters will be giving an artist talk at Portland Center Stage at The Armory on Tuesday, Nov. 26, about his solo exhibit “Thirteen”. Waters will be discussing his art, his process, and future goals.  

The event will be held at Portland Center Stage at the Portland Armory at 128 NW 11th Ave, Portland. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the talk starts at 7 p.m. It is a free event, light refreshments will be provided. 

Hobbs Waters is a noteable young artist and thirteen year old intellect, located in Portland. He owns and operates City Troll, LLC, his Urban lifestyle line, initially established in May, 2016. He is a current student at Steps PDX, Dance Academy, where he studies Balanchine Technique, Contemporary, Horton Modern Technique, Jazz, and Character. He participates in architecture introductory pilot class at the University of Oregon. Additionally, is a recreational music student at the Ethos music Community Center.

Waters is a relevant visual artist who has debuted his exhibitions in mainstream art institutions and galleries in the Portland area, including, the Portland 5’ arts and performing center, the Center at the Portland Armory, Basic Space Gallery, Ori Gallery, and Milieu. He primarily produces abstracted paintings, and prior works being ink illustrations.
