Many Oregon residents are struggling with high prescription drug costs. Residents and local leaders believe it's time for Congress to take action.

On Friday, November 8, the public is invited to join elected officials including Senator Ron Wyden, Congressman Earl Blumenauer and representatives from the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare and AARP to learn more about prescription drug costs. Attendees will learn what they can do to help our elected officials lower prescription drug prices. Also participating in the discussion will be State Rep. Rachel Prusak and State Rep. Andrea Salinas.

  • Learn the root causes of soaring drug prices.
  • Share your experiences with affordable Rx costs.
  • Interact with elected leaders and health policy experts.
  • Take the first step to join the fight to reduce Rx drug prices

The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited and reservations are required. Register on Eventbrite.

Continental breakfast is served from 9:00-10:00am with the program beginning at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 8, 2019 at PCC Cascade Student Union, 5575 North Albina Ave.

There will be free parking in the student union underground garage located on the 5500 block of North Mississippi Avenue between North Killingsworth St. and North Jessup St.
