Join LEAP Therapeutic Wilderness Programs for a night of fun at Oregon Public House, where a portion the evening's sales will be donated to support LEAP's summer flagship programs. LEAP works to empower those facing extraordinary life challenges by providing therapeutic wilderness programs.The Columbia Slough Paddle Challenge is a fundraiser for LEAP’s summer wilderness programs that encourages Portlanders to give and get outdoors. On June 16, teams of supporters, representing LEAP’s seven partner organizations will take to the water in kayaks to complete an eight-mile paddle.

Columbia Slough Kick-off Event: Join LEAP for a day and night of fun, food and company in celebration of their near decade-long commitment to changing the lives of those facing adversity. There will be prizes and activities from 11:30 a.m. to closing at 10:00 p.m. Try your luck lining up the rapids of the Lower Salmon River with whitewater bingo and test your knowledge of river slang during Class V trivia. In between, learn more about LEAP’s summer programs from guest speakers. Every dollar donated to the Columbia Slough Paddle Challenge at the event or online through June 16 will support LEAP’s wilderness programs.
