Learn how to preserve old family documents and photographs with Laura Denise White, the Genealogical Forum of Oregon’s resident archival consultant.

Visit the GFO library at 2 p.m. on Dec. 16 for a free, interactive workshop and don’t forget to bring along your own family photographs, diaries, letters and keepsakes. With the holiday season in full swing, it’s the perfect time to (safely) turn those old family relics into gifts and treasures.

If you just want to dig around in the largest genealogical library in the Northwest, make sure to visit on the first Monday of every month (Dec. 4) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. when the GFO research library is FREE and open to the public.

The GFO library is located on the lower level of the historic Ford Building in southeast Portland, 2505 S.E. 11th Ave, Suite B-18.
