On Wednesday, March 8 starting at 10:30 a.m. join Commissioner Loretta Smith in celebrating the renaming of the Multnomah County Elections Building in honor of Oregon suffragettes Abigail Scott Duniway and Esther Pohl Lovejoy.

The name change comes after the board approved a resolution brought forward by Commissioner Smith last fall. Video from the Oct. 20, 2016 board meeting can be viewed here.

The renaming celebration will take place in the Elections Building, 1040 S.E. Morrison St. in Portland.​ For more information and photos, visit Multnomah County.
