Members of Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Portland, Oregon are moving into the historic German American Society building located at 5626 NE Alameda in the Rose City Park neighborhood. They're welcoming new members to join them.

Service and worship times are as follows: Saturday Bible Study at 12 p.m., Sunday School at 9:30 a.m., and Sunday Worship and Praise at 11 a.m.

The 14,000-square-foot space is strategically located on bus lines and draws a multicultural membership from across the Portland metropolitan area.

Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church is also looking to expand their outreach beyond the city of Portland to network with other faith-based and non-faith based organizations that share their likes and passions.

The church will still maintain its east campus location at 11936 NE Sandy Blvd., which provides transitional housing for families and children in need. Nevertheless, it's looking to expand its services and resources through the new, larger facilty.

Established in 2011, Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church seeks to provide countywide services. In addition, the faith-based organizations it represents are strategically located and include large concentrations of African Americans from the areas.

With global and local ministry at the core of its identity, the Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church will continue to provide various services that include aid for families, free backpack giveaways, transitional housing, male mentoring, and school and transportation services.
