talentwithin poster2016 photoThe 4th annual “Talent Within” performing arts scholarship competition, hosted by Z-Man Scholarship Foundation and the Portland Police Bureau Youth Services Division will be held Friday, May 20 2016 at the City Bible Church at 6pm.

Metro area High Schools including Madison, Benson, Grant, Roosevelt, Jefferson, Lincoln, Wilson, Franklin, David Douglas, Barlow, Centennial, Gresham, Reynolds, Tualatin and Parkrose will all send representatives to compete.  Acts will include singers, dancers, musicians and variety acts. 

The winner will be awarded a $5,000 scholarship toward the college of his/her choice.  The competition is judged by a panel of local celebrity judges in the style made popular by American Idol.

 

2016 Judges include: 

Rindy Ross, Blake Sakamoto, Trailblazer Dance Team Captain and 2014 “Talent Within” winner, Javon Carter.
