On Thursday, Dec. 17, Medical Teams International (MTI) will be hosting a special mobile dental clinic at the Seattle Veterans Stand Down in Seattle. MTI’s Mobile Dental Program provides free and low-cost urgent dental care services to patients who lack dental insurance.

Licensed dentists, hygienists and dental assistants volunteer their time to provide preventative and emergency dental care to underserved populations. The mobile dental vans are fully equipped, providing roaming dental care to those in need across the Pacific Northwest.

While MTI utilizes the Mobile Dental Program throughout the year, Thursday’s holiday-themed event will feature a giant mobile dental van specially decorated for the season, as well as provide an opportunity for the Seattle community to purchase alternative gifts through MTI’s gift catalog. The gift catalog offers the chance for holiday gift giving with a purpose, aimed at improving lives around the world and here at home. As an added bonus, gifts purchased before midnight, Dec. 31, 2015 will be matched dollar for dollar up to $100,000 by a generous donor.
