Metro is requesting proposals for Connecting First and Last Mile: Accessing Mobility Through Transit Study for the Planning Department.

Electronic proposals only are due no later than June 4, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. to http://bidlocker.us/a/oregonmetro/BidLocker. Details are provided in the solicitation document.

Pre-Proposal Conference

A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland OR 97232 Room MRC 228 on April 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Interested proposers and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements. This meeting is being held in-person at Metro with a Zoom connection available for those that are not able to attend in-person. People are encouraged to attend in person to be able to better network with potential proposal partners – COBID firms in particular.

Metro is seeking proposals from qualified firms to study areas of the region that lack access to the regional transit network, but where opportunities may exist to connect people to jobs health care facilities and other institutions, parks and other regional public services. This study will develop a strategy that sets a path forward to achieve that vision and provide a roadmap for leveraging and funding the identified opportunities.

Solicitation documents can be viewed and downloaded from Bid Locker at http://bidlocker.us/a/oregonmetro/BidLocker.

Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest. Metro and its contractors will not discriminate against any person(s), employee or applicant for employment based on race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability, political affiliation or marital status. Metro fully complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities.
