Jefferson High School's 9th Annual Multicultural Film Fest continues on Dec. 8 with the thought provoking film "What Would Jesus Buy?"

The Rev. Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping Gospel Choir are on a mission "to save America's Christmas from the Shopocalypse: the end of manking from consumerism, over-consumption and the fires of eternal debt." The film, a comedic documentary about the perils of the commercialization of Christmas, plays at 5 p.m. Dec. 8 at the North Portland Library, 2nd Floor Conference Room, 512 N. Killingsworth St.
