Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera" has arrived in Portland. The musical about the mysterious, disfigured genius can be seen now through May 23 at the Keller Auditorium. Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of the piece boasts new staging, choreography and special effects from the famous chandelier.

The Skanner News was invited to take a sneak peak at the production before Thursday's matinee. Costumes, stage sets, and the chandelier were all being prepped for the show. Check out the slideshow of costumes and sets.
