Starting from a simple desire to create an authentic Mardi Gras experience, the Krewe has grown to become a public presence in Portland. The Krewe manages the Louisiana Pavilion at the  Waterfront Blues Festival, marches in the Starlight Parade, leads floaters to the river in The Big Float, and hosts the annual Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday parade on Mississippi Avenue.
