On Monday, Feb. 28, the Lifesavas and the Thermals will be performing a FREE show at Oaks Parks Skating Rink. But there's a catch. There's always a catch.

You have to have a wristband to get in. Google Hotpot – the show's sponsor – is giving them out around town and will be revealing those locations on their twitter feed -- @HotpotPDX.

If you aren't able to make Monday's performance, Rev. Shines of the Lifesavas will be spinning some of his best on Thursday, March 3 at the Someday Lounge.

Shines and crew are celebrating 3 years of The Fix, the free weekly hip hop showcase of some of the best hip hop of Portland and the nation. This Thursday, Rev. Shines will be joined by DJ Kez and Dundiggy.

Show starts at 9 p.m. on March 3. 21 and up.

The Fix has been a weekly gathering of artists that have included M64, Ragen Fykes, Matt Nelkin, DJ IZM, DJ Nature, DJ Mello Cee, DJ Beyonda, Rich Medina, Bobbito, Spindarella, Count Bass D, Mad Professor, Large Professor, Diamond D, Crazy Legs, Jake One, Spinna, Shafiq Exile & DJ Day, Dam Funk, Crown City Rockers, Shawn Jackson, Giant Panda, Vitamin D, Mick Boogie, ?uestlove, & many more
