Organizers of North and Northeast's biggest neighborhood festival, Good in the Hood, are gearing up for Saturday, June 29, with a carnival at Lillis Albina Park and a parade along Northeast MLK Boulevard. The carnival runs noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, then Sunday, June 30, from  10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Good in the Hood Kids' Space runs daily from 12-6 p.m.  with exciting activities, crafts, exhibits, and participatory games, face painting, and puppet shows. Legacy Emanuel Medical Center's "Trauma Nurses Talk Tough" offers a $6 discounted bicycle helmet sale and bike repair on Saturday June 29 only.
