Illmaculate releases his new album "Skrill Talk" with a celebration in Seattle, May 31, at The Nectar Lounge and in Portland, June 2, at Branx, 315 SE 3rd St.

"The album has been met with critical acclaim," Cool Nutz told The Skanner News.  "We are very proud of the album and looking to get it in the iPods, iPhones, CD players, and other mediums of those who appreciate true quality hip-hop music."

Listen for yourself by checking out the video of "Lost Our Soul," one of the signature tracks from "Skrill Talk," which features Southern rapper, Ness Lee. Lee co-produced the track with Chase Moore and also laid down the song's soulful hook. Illmaculate's boisterous vocals give a voice to his hometown atop the horn-and percussion-driven beat.

"Portland was the inspiration behind the song," Illmaculate says. "I wanted to make an anthem representing where I'm from, but in an original way. The visual touches on the changes we see every day in the city, while still celebrating accomplishments and growth of the city's hip-hop scene."

Illmaculate is currently on tour in Europe, but will head to Atlanta, GA May 28, to represent the Northwest in the Red Bull Emcee Finals.

The video is directed by Kyle Gray, with cinematography by Nelson Caravannis and 3D and effects work by Reggie FourMyle.
