ABOUT

 Join Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghostly spirits who visit on Christmas Eve to guide the grumpy miser through a redemptive and transformative journey towards friendship and love. The traditional ghost story surprisingly staged and contemporarily cast.  Hopeful, musical, and, above all, fun!

With Portland Playhouse at Your House, we invite you to enjoy A Christmas Carol ON DEMAND, and in the comfort of your own home. Simply select the ON DEMAND option on the ticket page, and you will be sent a link to watch our Season 14 production of A Christmas Carol. You will have a two week window to watch  from the date of your purchase.  So, order your ON DEMAND ticket, make some popcorn and pour yourself a drink and get ready to join Scrooge and his ghostly spirits on a redemptive journey towards friendship and love – all from the comfort of your own home. 

All ON DEMAND purchases must be made between December 17th, and December 31st, you will have a two week window to watch (an unlimited number of times) from the date of purchase.

Snow Much Joy

Balloon artist Kameron Messmer has transformed the studio into a giant, interactive snow globe full of joy. Yes, you heard that right. It’s a giant snow globe that YOU can get inside of. 
 
Open during performances of A CHRISTMAS CAROL! Ticket holders can experience it before the show; open to the general public (no ticket needed) between 7-8pm for evening performances and 2-3pm for matinees. ($5 suggested donation to support the artist.)
 
Everyone must abide by our Covid safety by showing proof of vaccination/negative test. If you have a peppermint or latex sensitivity, this is not for you. Learn more about Kameron Messmer here.
