The new Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette Regional Service Center in Northeast Portland officially opens its doors Valentine's day, Feb. 14 for a special launch celebration.
The state of the art facility, at 3727 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., will house a large women's health clinic as well as the organization's administrative staff, and will boast thousands of feet of street-level retail space.
Speakers at the celebration are Planned Parenthood Federation of America President Cecile Richards, local President David Greenberg, and organization chaplain Vincent Lachina.
The event runs from 2-4 p.m.
