An attorney representing the family of slain 7-year-old Aiyana Jones has filed two lawsuits against Detroit police today.
Jones was severely burned when a "flash-bang" grenade was thrown into the residence and landed on or near her, then she was shot in the neck and head during the botched raid.

Police have said the shot occurred after a tussle with the young girl's grandmother, although the family's attorney said he viewed an amateur video of the event that shows an officer firing inside the house from the porch. The grandmother denies there was any contact between her and police.
Police were searching for a murder suspect in an unrelated homicide who lived at the same residence.
