PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- The father of a missing Portland boy says the boy's stepmother has been engaging in a sexual affair as police conduct an investigation into the boy's disappearance.
A motion filed by Kaine Horman's attorney on Monday is the latest twist in the investigation into what happened to 7-year-old Kyron Horman, who vanished from his school June 4.
Kaine Horman asked a judge to hold his wife, Terri Moulton Horman, in contempt of court. Kaine Horman says Terri Horman showed a copy of a restraining order against her to a man she is having an affair with, even though the judge sealed the order.
In his request for the restraining order, Kaine Horman said he believed Terri Horman was involved in Kyron's disappearance. Police have not said she is a suspect.
Terri Horman's attorney, Stephen Houze, told reporters Tuesday his client would be at the July 21 contempt of court hearing. Mulntomah County Corcuit Court Judge Keith Meisenheimer also set a second hearing for Sept. 21.
Terri Horman has not contested terms of a restraining order keeping her away from her 20-month-old daughter Kiara.
