Crews began repaving portions of the Springwater Corridor starting in April. The work encompasses nearly eight miles of the trail, which will last until August, and close sections of the trail from SE 28th Avenue all the way to the border of Gresham.
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is funding the addition of 2 inches of porous asphalt over the existing trail, as well as replacement signs, and pavement markings.
No more than two miles of the trial will be closed to the public at any given time.
