On behalf of the Boston Family, in memory of Louis J. Boston, we express our deepest gratitude to the Skanner Newspaper and Bernie and Bobbie Foster for their remembrance of our dear community friend. We also thank St. Andrew Parish, the Ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Gentleman of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Grand Boulé Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, the African American Chamber of Commerce, Nike, Portland Trailblazers, Board of Directors and staff of Better People and the office of U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley for their gifts of time and resources for Lou's funeral service July 18.

Additionally to these mentioned few, we are thankful for all the individual acts of kindness, greeting cards, and best regards from countless people in our local area.

May we all extend this spirit of giving, that Lou so greatly encouraged in his daily living, into our community.
