America’s military personnel risk their lives to defend our liberties. In return Americans make a commitment to take care of veterans. Part of that commitment is funding veterans’ health care. 

That's been an untouchable promise for decades. But now, influenced by the deep pockets of the Koch brothers – and their front organization, “Concerned Veterans for America” – Republicans are joining a campaign to kill off VA healthcare.

The issue is likely to influence the 2016 presidential election. Republican contenders Jeb Bush Rand Paul and Marco Rubio are all on board the billionaire brothers’ effort to privatize veterans health care.

Last week Rachel Maddow exposed the privatization campaign and talked to Veterans Administration Secretary Robert A McDonald.
