Tracie Yevette Lane-Diamond was born on Jan. 4, 1967 in Stockton, Calif., to James L. Lane and Lila Lane. She was the youngest of six children.
Tracie and her family moved to Portland in 1976, where she graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1985.
She was employed with the Oregon Humane Society for 17 years.
She always greeted people with a warm pleasant smile; she loved children and animals. She was full of fun, enjoyed music and stayed up-to-date on the latest movies.
Tracie was preceded in death by her sister Johnnie Andrew.
She is survived by two daughters, Lila Dunbar and Chardonay Dunbar; mother, Lila Lane; father, James Lane; stepfather, Van Neyland; sister, Reneé D Dinwiddi; brothers, Alex J. Senegal, Ronald R. Wright and Quintin Andrew; nieces Alexis Senegal, Alexis Andrew and Trevia Dinwiddi; nephews Granger Dinwiddi, Ronald Wright Jr., Anthony Burrell, Quintin Andrew Jr., James Andrew, Alex J. Senegal Jr. and Ahmed Senegal; grand-nephew, Granger Dinwiddi III; aunts Janel Lester and Helen Lane; lifelong friends Bessie Strickland, James Dunbar, Lois Dunbar and Eron Dunbar; and a host of family and friends.
Service were held June 21 at Life Change Christian Center. Arrangements by Cox & Cox Funeral Chapel.
