Portland Community College hosts the 13th Annual Cascade Job Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 27, at the Cascade Campus Gymnasium, 705 N. Killingsworth St.
Sponsored by Comcast, OregonLive, Hoffman Construction and Pacific Coast Fruit Co., the job fair will have a wide variety of employers with which the community can connect.
The Cascade Job Fair, which had 50 employers and more than 1,900 job seekers last year, is a community event. Job-seekers are mostly between the ages of 23 and 34 and are almost 18 percent African American.
Employers this year are AAA, Aflac, American Family Insurance, American Red Cross Blood Services, Bethesda Lutheran Communities, Bonneville Power Administration, The
Brooks Staffing, CARQUEST Auto Parts, Central City Concern, Clackamas County, Investment Advisors International Inc., KGW, Kroger Manufacturing, Liberty Mutual, Lifeworks NW, Metro, Metro Multifamily Housing Association, Minot Area Development Corp., Mt.
