Portland-native Bosko is holding an exclusive listening party for his new album "The Good Life Movement" on Feb. 10 at Berbati's Bar in Portland from 8 to 11 p.m.
In order to attend, you must make an advanced reservation, which can be made on Bosko's website at www.boskolive.com.
Since going national, Bosko has gone on to work with hip hop industry greats Kanye West, Big Boi of Outkast, E-40, Lil' Wayne and many others. Bosko says the Portland debut of "The Good Life Movement" represents Bosko's dedication to his hometown. Indeed, Portland's own Cool Nutz is credited as the person in charge of Artists and Repertoire on the album.
"The Good Life Movement" is part soul, part old-school hip-hop and part poetry. The singer/rapper/producer/musician has produced an album – without the help of a major record deal, mind you – that is an ode to modern romance, relationships, sex, technology and he gets just a little bit philosophical in between. It's also his first solo vocal album.
You can download or buy a hard copy at www.boskolive.com, myspace.com/boskolive, myspace.com/Superproducerbosko, CDbaby.com, and iTunes.
