Portland Alumnae Chapter help at the registration table for the African American Health Coalition's 13th annual Wellness Village on Oct. 18 at the Blazers Boys and Girls Club. The village featured flu shots, a breast health workshop, vision, hearing and diabetes screenings and massage therapy.
The group held their Health Disparities Conference on the 17th, which featured a a keynote lecture on "The Truth About African Americans And Kidney Disease," by Dr. Clayton Smiley And Christine Sanders.
