Members of Sisters in Action for Power take to the streets Wednesday to protest the negative effect of the federal No Child Left Behind Act on educational funding. "We're trying to raise awareness about No Child Left Behind and what it means to our children's education," said Chirese Jones of the Sisters. "We want the community to come together and support our schools and our children." For more information, visit the Sisters at 1732 N.E. Alberta St. or call 503-331-1244.
