FamilyCare Inc is a Portland-based managed healthcare organization. We are looking for just the right person as an addition to our Health Management Team.  Our Care Coordinators act as leaders within our company across all departments in providing excellent service to all of our customers.  Responsibilities include coordinating clinical services for our members, coordination of benefits, utilization review, case management, and education of peers and providers. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.  This position will work out of our corporate headquarters in downtown Portland.
Requirements: Current active Oregon RN license and prior case management experience. Prior work experience in insurance or in disease management is preferred. The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, problem solving and computer skills. A working knowledge of CPT codes, ICD-9 codes and utilization criteria is helpful. The person selected will work in a self-directed environment; this will require a high degree of professional expertise, the ability to work within a team and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
