Floyd McCorvey

Portland resident Floyd McCorvey died Aug. 4. he was 80.
Born on Dec. 13, 1925, in Okemah, Okla., he was a security officer prior to his retirement. Mr. McCorvey moved to the Portland area in 1971 from Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Robbi A. (Kendrix) McCorvey, whom he married in 1992.
Other survivors include a son, Floyd McCorvey Jr.; a stepson, Pierre White; and three grandchildren.
Funeral was Aug. 11 at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, followed by burial in Willamette National Cemetery. Arrangements by Rose City Cemetery and Funeral Home.

John R. Bronski

Portland resident John Ronald Bronski died Aug. 5. He was 33.
Born on Jan. 1, 1973, in Chicago, he was a stock person by trade. Mr. Bronski moved to the Portland area in 1980.
He is survived by his parents, Ronald and Deborah Bronski; daughters Arinna and Lily Bronski; and sons Gabriel and Aaron Bronski.
Funeral was Aug. 10 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Arrangements by Ross Hollywood Chapel.
